Kazutaka Shioi
Visual artist. Born in Miyazaki in 1987 and now lives in Fukuoka, Japan. He creates artworks to enrich the modern lifestyle. He incorporates product design techniques into his production process and continues to produce fantastic pieces based on his unique materials and techniques. Based on the concept of ‘connecting the place and the body’, his aim is to create great pieces using natural materials such as iron, stone, driftwood, and Japanese paper. He gets close to natural forms to brighten and enrich everyday life. His work continues to this day.
